Good morning!!  This is a video that Steve and I did last week that is a great visual for  focusing on priorities in our life.  We had such positive feedback about it!  It is something we saw Stephen Covey demonstrate about 30 years ago!  You may have seen this before but we think it is worth watching again!

We would love for you to check it out   🙂

What to do when you’re very busy but you don’t feel productive?

Happy Journaling!

Steve and Theresa

Hey there!

Here is a video that Steve and I did on Facebook and we wanted to share it here with you!

In this video we talk about how we journal about our future and not the past..But ironically, when you look back over your journal, it will be your past! 🙂  So the goal is to look at your past and see that you accomplished what you journaled when it was still your future.

We also talk about when we journal and make suggestions on times that might work best for you. Also, journaling together  keeps us heading towards our same Future Focus.

Watch the video and let us know what you think!

Make sure you are following us on Facebook and Instagram!

Happy journaling!

Hey there! This is an updated recipe for my Protein balls! I’ve been trying to eat less carbs and I decided to add Shredded coconut in place of the oatmeal!! It is very good!! The boys couldn’t even tell I changed it. I added the same amount of coconut as oatmeal. Give it a try!!

These taste best if stored in the refrigerator.

All you need is…

1 1/2 cups Chocolate protein powder ( I use Shakeology)

1 1/2 cups unsweetend shredded coconut

1 1/2 cups organic almond butter ( or any nut butter)

1 cup Honey

Mix together in a bowl. It will be sticky and best if you use your hands. Make into small balls. This should make about 25-30 balls depending on the size. Store in the refrigerator. ENJOY!

I get requests for this recipe all the time! These are just sweet enough to take care of a sweet tooth and just enough chocolate to satisfy any chocolate cravings. Whenever my boys come home from college they always ask for a batch of these to take back. I always feel better knowing they are snacking on these since Shakeology is just so darn good for you!!

This is a delicious and easy recipe.

2lbs. ground turkey
1/2 Tbs coconut oil
1 onion
minced garlic
4 Tbs Cholula Hot Sauce.. I use Chipotle (adjust to your taste)
1-2 Tbs Sriracha (adjust to your taste)
2-3 Tbs Braggs Amino acids (maybe a bit more!)
1 Tbs Flavor God Everything Spicy (any seasoning works too)
12 oz bag broccoli slaw
12-14 oz cole slaw

Cilantro (optional)

I put coconut oil, garlic and onion in pan and saute. Then I added the ground turkey. Cook the turkey.
Next add the Flavor God, Sriracha, and Cholula
Add 1 pkg 12 oz. Broccoli Slaw and about 12-14 oz. Cole slaw. Cook about another 5 min. then add Braggs to taste! I didn’t include this in the video, but I add cilantro at the end. It’s so good!
Be sure to let me know what you think!

This is the best flavored water! I was surprised with the combination of strawberries and basil. It is sooo good! I hope you like it!

Let me know if you like or what your favorite flavored water is.

Such an easy and yummy recipe. It’s low in calories is delicious and nutritious!! I am also terrible about exact measurements. I just add and taste then see what else is needed. Just adjust this recipe to your taste.

1 head cauliflower

1-2 Tbs coconut oil

1 tsp garlic

1/2 onion ( I used red because it was what I already had)

1/2 large bag of frozen vegetables

2 whole eggs and 2 additional egg whites. ( or this can be only egg whites or whole eggs.. Your choice.) I scrambled them separately.

1 Tbs sesame oil

Braggs amino acids to taste

1 tsp freshly grated ginger

First you will need to cut up the cauliflower and put it into a mixer or food processor. I used my vita mix. I don’t own a food processor. ? I just added a little at a time and would dump that out then add more. It was easier than adding the whole head at one time. That was a mess!! Saute the garlic and onions in the coconut oil for 2-3 min. Add the cauliflower and vegetables. Then add the eggs the sesame oil and Braggs. You could add Teriyaki sauce but I think that makes it too rich. You could also try pineapple. Add some chicken or shrimp too! I hope you enjoy this recipe. Let me know if you did and what changes you made to the recipe. ?

I have been seeing a lot of mug cakes lately and thought I would give it a try. Disclaimer…I realize that cooking Shakeology destroys a lot of the good nutrients but sometimes you just need something sweet and a change from drinking a shake. ?

Microwave safe mug

1 scoop chocolate shakeology (or any protein powder you like)

1 egg

3 TBS cashew milk ( I am sure that any type of milk will work)

stevia drops

coconut butter

Mix all ingredients together in a mug except for the coconut butter. Heat for 1 min. then check to see if it is runny. I usually do another 20-30 sec. Top with coconut butter or anything you like. I drizzled honey on top to make it look better. Its not the prettiest..but it is so good!

When Steve and I get up on Saturday mornings, one of the first things we do is fill out our journal and we focus on our BIG ROCKS. We right down the letters F.I.R.S.T. We set a goal for each letter. (If you haven’t done so, please sign up for our free guide on how we do this) I will write at least one thing I will do towards our finances. When we talk about our finances it is much more than having enough money to pay our bills and do the things we want like eating out, or going on vacations. It is a frame of mind of realizing that our money is not ours. The money we have is exactly the amount that God had allowed us to acquire by using the gifts that he has provided. As is stated in both Matthew 25:21 and 25:23, “My good and faithful servant, you have been faithful with the little things, now I will give you many things.” God actually wants us to be wealthy because if we are managing our money correctly, we will be helping others as well as ourselves with the money we make. As soon as He sees that we are managing our money the way He wants us to, He will start allowing us to be in charge of even more. There is a very small, very easy to read book explaining the management of money. “The Richest Man in Babylon” by George Clason. It is worth your time to read this book. It talks about the basics of tithing, investing and saving. Something that most people do not do.

One of the reasons I became a Team Beachbody coach was to help our family financially. Please leave a comment below or email me if you would like more information on how this opportunity can help you and your family.
